Housing Works Brooklyn Housing was total (gut) renovation completed in 2007. In the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, a four-story building was transformed into a community facility with 20 transitional housing units, an elevator, internal fire stairs, support staff in an open plan office, and common areas. The facility is graced with a restored rear garden. The Brooklyn project received a Federal HUD grant.
